These pilots were highely trained Spartan II's that went fresh from the program to advanced naval and arial combat. This Operation was extremely dangerous and was needed to be sure that it was a success, so they
had the best saber squadron created not only to pilot sabers but to operate any naval and arial craft. The Operation was successfull but later on other Operations two of the three pilots went MIA and the squad leader deserted his post and is now a high priority threat and must be shot on sight.
